Buhari Dumped By The South-West Group, Receives Immediate Marching Order To Forget About The 2019 Elections
A Lagos based Civil Rights movement, Save Lagos Group, SLG, has advised the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari, to forget about being re-elected as nation’s President, in the 2019 general elections, saying that Nigerians are tired of the failed electoral promises of the ruling APC-led Federal Government.
The group also called on the good people of the country, to rally round the Presidential standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is fully prepared to rescue the land from the dark and dangerous route of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
According to the group’s Convener, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, in a statement made available to Newsmen, on Sunday, he noted that Nigeria needs a life (not lifeless) Leader, that would bring back robust a economy, thereby returning the country to the path of progress, growth,
While reacting to the various reactions of the APC and its agents over the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for next year’s Presidential election, Comrade Sulaiman described the endorsement as a good and welcome development, adding that, Obasanjo and other Leaders have made a right choice for the 2019 Presidency, in Atiku.
Recall, that Obasanjo had last Thursday, declared his utmost support for his former Vice President’s (Atiku), Presidential ambition.
While also thanking Chief Obasanjo for forgiving and endorsing Atiku for the 2019 Presidency, Sulaiman assured the Nigerian masses that they would not regret voting for Atiku Abubakar in next year’s Presidential election, adding that, Atiku would bring dividends of democracy to the
door steps of the Nigerian masses.
Commenting on Buhari and the APC’s response on Obasanjo’s endorsement of Atiku, the Rights Activist urged Nigerians not to take the drowned and rejected party (APC) and its Presidential Candidate serious, referring to the conduct of the APC primaries across the States of the Federation, which made the party not to field Candidates in Zamfara and a few other States of the Federation, alleging that the APC primaries were full of impunity and imposition.
Sulaiman who doubles as Executive Chairman, Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice, CHRSJ, described their response as reactions of a sinking organisation that wants to sink the best and alternative Presidential hopeful (Atiku), with their antics.
The SLG Chief, then advised the former Vice President and his Presidential team with their teeming supporters, not to fall prey of the APC’s antics, by not dignifying themselves with the sinking party (APC), and its Presidential Candidate (Muhammadu Buhari).
